I've sort of known about Krampus on the edges of things for years. He's been a small time player, an Austrian Bad-Cop to St. Nicholas' Good-Cop. Interesting, but not really relevant to me. Until this year. I got two separate cards with Krampus on them, and I've seen dozens of references to the guy online when previously I'd not seen a single thing.
My guess, next year Krampus and Ded Moroz are going to steal the spotlight and run with it.
