You Old People and Your "So Called" Music...
I don't mind people liking The Beatles, I just wish they didn't have to put other bands/artists/generations down while they do it.
It invites comparison, and I can be VERY unkind while comparing. "Love Me Do" for example, is a stupid, vapid, dumbshit little song made up almost entirely of single syllable words. Do you want me comparing the emotional depth of "Love Me Do" to that of say... "Jeremy" or perhaps "Papa Don't Preach" maybe? Would you like me to further use that as proof that The Beatles are worthless and nothing they did has any value what-so-ever? No? Then listen to Will Smith when he says "Don't start nothin', won't be nothin'!"
I don't even mind The Beatles, I just despise anyone using their tastes and the fact that they can pick from decades of good things to bully someone younger who only has a few years of material to work with. When you can use the bast of the 60s, 70s, and 80s to tell someone why their music of the 2010s sucks, then you are being a bully. They have three years, you are cherry picking from three decades. And if you're going to start that horse shit, I demand you defend Sussudio! Oh, and you can't make any argument that can also be applied to the music of Das Bieber. Not only that, you have to explain why it's better than Sailing to Philadelphia AND Maybe! Yeah, you wanna start this shit? Have at thee mutha' fucka'! I'd have picked later songs, but I honestly haven't listened to any new music since the 90s. Not because it's better, but because I'm lazy and sticking with what I know was easier.
And besides oldster, isn't the main problem here that these young bastards can kneel down and stand up in the same day like it's nothing?
You're coming off as a cranky, resentful old fuck, and I hate that in someone who is even close to my own age.

Did You Miss The Point of That Song?
I mean... Y'all do know that Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero is about a woman who's rubbing one out after watching old movies all night, right? I mean, she's not looking for someone to save her, she is looking for a guy who will give her a good hard fuckin' like she's never had before.
Really! Actually LISTEN to the lyrics. She watched Thor: The Dark World and wrote this song as a result (Bonnie Tyler is a Time Lord btw)
Semi-Related: Who the hell is Ella Mae Bowen and why was she allowed to make such a shitty SHITTY cover of this song?
