Watching Rififi.
It's a lot like The Asphalt Jungle, and I mean A LOT like it.
Only this is in French so it's "Classier" than some dirty little crime picture made in America 5 years earlier. As a result, Rififi is in the Criterion Collection and Asphalt Jungle barely gets a release as part of a box set.
This is sort of like how Salo is supposed to be this great and wonderful film, but I Spit on Your Grave is a piece of shit.
